Brooklyn Brewery Greenmarket Wheat
Though Guinness is unquestionably and unequivocally my tipple of choice, this does not mean I haven’t dabbled in other hoppy intoxicants. And one such beer to have passed my massively stringent taste test was that of Brooklyn Lager which, I think but cannot confirm, is Brooklyn Beckham’s beer label (lawyers say no).
For this reason, I always tip my cap to the bar-man should I notice that they stock Brooklyn Beer behind the bar. The bar man’s invariably respond to said cap-tipping by facilitating my immediate removal from the premises via the medium of bouncer i.e. the ruffians, not the deceased labrador from everyone’s favourite Antipodean soap opera, Neighbours. Well, imagine my delight when I discovered that the Brooklyn Brewery have added another delicious looking string to their bow in the form of this Brooklyn Brewery Greenmarket Wheat Beer, which (having skim-read the product description) I believe is made from local, organic shit from the Brooklyn area and, I dare say, it is all the tastier for it.
I’ve not had the best of luck with organic products in the past (I once inexplicably paid in access of £5 for a loaf of organic bread) but, so far as beer is concerned, I am more than willing to loosen the purse strings a little and I think that this Brooklyn Brewery Greenmarket Wheat Beer will prove to be a mightily sound investment on my part.
This looks like a very respectable drop. I will feel less like a reprobate when I’m drinking it by myself in the park.
