Rustic Wooden Coasters
I lived in the woods for a while. Long story – involving a tale of squirrel deceit and an alcoholic badger – but, long story short, I have a lot of friends from my time in the woods and, being a host who prides himself on making his guests feel at home, I’ve decided to invest in some of these brilliant Rustic Wooden Coasters for when the lads come round for a chin-wag and that. I remember one time last year when this vole I met during my woodland sabbatical (he was my sponsor) came round for a Guinness (bad sponsor) and I made the mistake of serving him his pint on a shitty coaster and he went mental. Well, such calamities will be avoided when I use these brilliant wood coasters in the future. This is, of course, reliant on the vole accepting any future invitations. I’ve gone off on a very unusual tangent in this post. Basically, upshot is, I’m a woodsman and I want to surround myself with woodsmanny things. Ipso facto – hello Rustic Wooden Coasters.
These coasters are older than some bottles of whiskys that I own (Point to Note: I make my own whisky in the bathtub with an approximate one week lead time).
