Vintage Suitcase Shelves

Vintage Suitcase Shelves

I carry out a lot of (unsupervised) nuclear experiments at home and, given that my capabilities in the scientific arena are minimal at best, there are invariably a lot of mishaps going on in my flat. I am particularly unaccomplished in the field of nuclear fusion and I’m one of those dickheads who, if they keep failing at things, they don’t just give up and get smashed (I do do that). But, in my one attempt at nuclear fusion, I had a rather fortunate mishap which resulted in the rather brilliant Vintage Suitcase Shelves above. I was just pissing about with a few atoms and electrons and that and, when I was smacking one with a hammer, there was a big explosion and, when I woke up (5 days later), I was delighted to see that all my suitcases (I’m a collector) had been blown into the wall of my flat during the explosion and, as luck would have it, fused at very neat, level and visually appealing positions. I, of course, had factored these positions into my experiment so I wasn’t surprised to see them like this but others were mightily impressed at the precision of my endeavours.

I’m planning on making a Trunki version as well which, as I’m sure we can all agree, will look terrible.
