Greubel Forsey GMT Watch

Greubel Forsey GMT Watch

OK, so, I was wandering around Mr Magorium’s Wonder Emporium (is that right?) the other day and saw this rather eye-catching timepiece sitting upon one of the shelves. I’ve always wanted to spend half a million pounds on a watch, I thought smugly to myself upon discovering it, and decided that this timepiece would be the one that I would settle upon. The Greubel Forsey GMT watch is, to be honest, more of an art installation than a timepiece but you can’t help but be impressed by its visual appeal (unless, of course, you hate an eclectic mix of weird shit cluttering up your watch face). If you’ve often thought that it would be nice to have a watch that boasts a 3D globe within it (every young boy’s dream) then the Greubel Forsey GMT watch delivers in spades. It doesn’t just have the rotating globe and that – it also has a wordtime disc on the rear with cities from each of the world’s 24 timezones. Which, given my globetrotting ways, will be essential. The rotating globe also acts as a GPS and a red dot will mark your current location anywhere on earth. This, it goes without saying, is a complete fallacy. The dot is green.
